Fortune - If you care to hear what fate has in store, from the lips of a liar, Vaughn is an avid fanatic for observing the twists of fate and an excellent reader of Tarot cards. He often offers readings to strangers in cities or busy towns, wherever he might catch a glimpse into someone else's destiny.

Bounty - Vaughn's name and face are known among bounty hunters who work for the Eorzean City States, several small bounties out on his capture - alive. Flippant and shameless, he tends to buy off his bounties himself, but some stubborn few might try to bring him to justice to atone for all of his racketeering.

Magic - A mage of a peculiar village in Skatay, Vaughn's magic mixes the practices of his homeland with his own experimentation and methods. The combination bears elements similar to the arts of the Sharlayan Astrologians and the geomancers of the East, while retaining a few unique traits of Vaughn's own design. He's often willing to discuss aetherology and magical theory, even if he refuses to entirely divulge his arts to anyone else.

Forgery - During his years, Vaughn developed a knack for forgeries. Whether false papers, fake letters, or any other written word that can be replicated, Vaughn finds these phonies to be a fun challenge, and he lends his services to those willing to pay for them. Whether someone wants a letter penned in someone else's hand or a false identification, Vaughn can assist, provided he has proper incentive.

Profit - Recent events have left Vaughn low on gil, and he intends to find his riches again. Whatever the venture, he'll seek his own profit above nearly all else, which makes him a potentially helpful ally, or a thorn in someone's side. He doesn't care if he involves himself in criminal matters, so long as he walks away with a full coin purse.

Revenge - Vaughn holds a grudge against Garlemald, and any who call that land their home. It seems he's searching for someone or something in particular, but any Garlean might be met with his ire in the wrong circumstances.
